Girls Inc. of NYC – 2024 Gala & 25th Anniversary Branding
I had the honor of working with Girls Inc. of New York City for the second year in a row, designing the visual identity for their 2024 Annual Gala and creating a special logo to celebrate their 25th anniversary. This project was a meaningful collaboration that allowed me to blend storytelling, symbolism, and design to highlight the organization’s impact in empowering young women.
Bringing the Vision to Life
Girls Inc. of NYC is dedicated to inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold. For their 25th anniversary, they needed a cohesive and compelling visual identity that would honor their legacy, celebrate their achievements, and inspire continued support. My goal was to create a design system that felt empowering, timeless, and aligned with their mission.
Key Design Elements
25th Anniversary Logo
A commemorative logo that visually captured a quarter-century of progress. I designed a mark that balanced elegance and strength, ensuring it could be used across digital and print materials while remaining recognizable and impactful.
Bridge Illustration
The bridge became a central visual motif in this project, representing connection, progress, and the journey ahead. As a key part of the gala branding, the illustration symbolized the strength and resilience of the girls and young women that Girls Inc. supports.
Tote Bag Design & Merchandise
I translated the bridge illustration and anniversary branding into custom tote bags, creating a keepsake that attendees could take home. These totes served as more than just event swag—they became a statement piece that carried the Girls Inc. message beyond the gala.
Digital & Print Assets
To create a unified brand experience, I designed a variety of materials, including social media graphics, event signage, and gala collateral. These elements ensured that every touchpoint—from invitations to on-site visuals—felt seamless and elevated the celebration.
A Rewarding Collaboration
Seeing my work come to life at the 2024 Girls Inc. Gala was an incredibly rewarding experience. From the first sketches to the final designs, each piece was crafted with intention and purpose, reflecting the strength, confidence, and empowerment that Girls Inc. fosters in young women.
I’m proud to have contributed to such an important milestone, and I look forward to more collaborations that amplify meaningful causes through design.
