A menu is an extension of the restaurant’s brand.

The menu is organized into categories to make it easier for guests to skim and quickly find what they’re looking for. Specialty items are highlighted with boxes, bold text and colors, which increases the likelihood these items will be seen and ultimately ordered.

Effective typography communicates Il Casaro’s brand and results in a legible menu. The colors are based on the target audience and the theme of the restaurant.

Barbara is lively Roman restaurant inspired by the rustic tradition of Roman pizzeria. It opened in the San Francisco’s historic Italian district of North Beach in September 2018 to served as the neighborhood destination for casual dinning. 

Fun, warm, and stylish design pairs well with the restaurants’ classic Italian comfort and friendly spirit. 

California Fish Market Restaurant is a sustainable seafood restaurant & retail market in Little Italy, San Francisco that opened in July 2020.

The restaurant offers fresh Pacific Coast seafood with an Italian twist. It is focused on working with local fishermen and farmers, and serves simply prepared contemporary dishes and rustic creations. 

The logo takes inspiration from Pêche, a seafood restaurant located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The design uses a marine color palette and two shades of brown typically found in fish wrapping paper. The classical and historical style of IM FELL DW Pica, a serif typeface, contrasts with the more modern and clean look of the sans serif Bebas Neue Pro.

The design of the menu conveys the personality of the restaurant: friendly, sustainable, and relaxed environment. The color palette is consistent with the logo, and a marine pattern in the background gives an hint of character.
